The Chrysalis Project Book Give Away Bonanza
On August 14, 2022, Shiloh Baptist Church, in conjunction with The Chrysalis Project (TCP) held an outdoor worship service and community block party including a book giveaway.
On August 14, 2022, Shiloh Baptist Church, in conjunction with The Chrysalis Project (TCP), an established mentoring program for junior and high school girls, held an outdoor worship service and community block party. The free event offered a free book bonanza giveaway aimed at inspiring our younger generation to pick up a book and discover the wonders of reading. In addition to the joyous celebration, Shiloh held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the establishment of a second registered Little Library in Plainfield.
Spanish: El 14 de agosto de 2022, la Iglesia Shiloh Baptist, en conjunto con la Chrysalis Project (TCP), un programa de tutoría establecido para niñas de secundaria y preparatoria, celebró un servicio de Oraciones al aire libre y una fiesta de bloque comunitaria. El evento gratuito ofreció una entrega de libros destinado a inspirar a nuestra generación más joven a recoger un libro y descubrir las maravillas de la lectura. Además de la alegre celebración, Shiloh celebró una ceremonia de corte de cinta para el establecimiento de una segunda Pequeña Biblioteca registrada en Plainfield.
Supporting Our Frontline Workers
The Chrysalis Project, Inc. partnered with Pat Field, President of The New Outlook Pioneers & Joylette Mills - Ransome , Council Woman of Plainfield New Jersey to feed frontline workers in our community. We Partnered with Mr. Subs of South Plainfield New Jersey to supply lunch on May 11, 2020 to Medemerge of Greenbrook, NJ and Muhlenberg Emergency Facility in Plainfield.
