Choose one Word that will encourage and inspire to make good lifestyle choices in every aspect of life.

The goal is to live the Word for one year to transform oneself, to own one’s future and live with purpose and focus.

Make a framed inscription of the Word and position so to see the Word daily.

African Dance Workshop

On Feb 22, 2020 the Chrysalis Project sponsored an African Dance workshop facilitated by Audrey Davis Dunning. The workshop was held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Plainfield NJ in honor of Black History Month. Eleven high school girls were in attendance. The program served as an introduction to the dance, culture and rhythms of West Africa and was accompanied by live drumming.  Prizes were awarded for trivia questions answered and each participant received an African dance skirt called a “lapa” as a memento. Paint and Sip

On November 9, 2019 Lydia Troutman & Marie Joyner headed up the Chrysalis Project Paint & Sip event.
We were able to share this amazing event with ten of our girls and five parents.
The event allowed the young ladies to be creative while painting our signature butterfly.
For all of our girls this paint therapy was a first and the joy on their faces of their finished product allows us to anticipate having a similar outing with them in the future.
